DESCRIPTION
The Jonard Tools RC-500 Ratcheting Cable Cutter is designed to cleanly cut copper and aluminum power cables up to 500 MCM (240 mm²) and other similarly sized multi-conductor cables. This cable cutter features the following:
- Made of heat-treated carbon steel with induction-hardened cutting edges for maximum strength and durability
- Unique design allows you to hold and cut cables quickly and easily
- Spring-loaded mechanism on handles for automatic opening
- Ergonomically designed handle with cushioned rubber grip for greater comfort and leverage
- This cable cutter is not designed for use on ACSR or other steel cables
